Danny DeVito and Aubrey Plaza will star in Little Demons, a new FXX animated comedy series.
Danny DeVito and Plaza will star as the parents of the Antichrist (Lucy DeVito, actual daughter to Danny). Danny DeVito will voice the Devil himself, who is seeking to get custody of his daughter's soul. Plaza will play the Antichrist's human mother, who is trying to live a normal life with her daughter in Delaware while constantly dealing with monstrous forces.
The series is created and written by Darcy Fowler, Seth Kirschner and Kieran Valla, who also serve as executive producers with Plaza, Danny DeVito, Lucy DeVito, Jake DeVito (son to Danny), Dan Harmon and ShadowMachine. The comedy will air on FXX and be available to stream on Hulu the next day. An exact premiere date was not announced.
"Little Demon is a hilarious new animated horror comedy featuring Danny DeVito, Aubrey Plaza, Lucy DeVito and a host of other great talent," said Nick Grad, president of original programming at FX Entertainment. "Creators Darcy Fowler, Seth Kirschner and Kieran Valla have teamed up with Danny, Aubrey, Dan Harmon, Jake and Lucy DeVito, and ShadowMachine as executive producers on this unique new series for FXX."
Plaza is best known for playing April Ludgate in Parks and Recreation and Lenny Busker in Legion. She also voiced Eska in The Legend of Korra and appeared in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Danny DeVito's credits include One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Space Jam, Batman Returns, Matilda and Dumbo (2019). Lucy DeVito starred in Jumanji: The Next Level and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
FXX is a basic cable channel owned by Disney and is the sister channel to FX. Its current original programming includes the long-running It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Archer, Cake and Dave.

Thirteen years after being impregnated by the Devil (Danny DeVito), a reluctant mother (Aubrey Plaza) and her Antichrist daughter (Lucy DeVito) attempt to live an ordinary life in Delaware, but are constantly thwarted by monstrous forces, including Satan, who yearns for custody of his daughter's soul.
Created and written by Darcy Fowler, Seth Kirschner and Kieran Valla, Little Demon stars Danny DeVito, Aubrey Plaza and Lucy DeVito. The FXX series does not have a release date.
