As Entertainment Weekly continues to parcel out images in the countdown to Comic-Con International, the magazine has unveiled a new still from "Victor Frankenstein," featuring James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe.

Directed by Paul McGuigan (“Sherlock,” “Lucky Number Slevin”) from a script by Max Landis (“Chronicle”), the reinterpretation of Mary Shelley’s Gothic horror classic it told from the perspective of Igor (Radcliffe), the troubled young assistant to medical student Victor Von Frankenstein (McAvoy).

“It’s about creation, and Victor is not only creating this monster but in a sense Igor, who in the beginning of the movie is living in abject conditions and considered less than human,” says Radcliffe, whose Igor dates to the 1931 film "Frankenstein," where he was named Fritz.

Opening Oct. 2, “Victor Frankenstein” also stars Mark Gatiss, Jessica Brown Findlay and Andrew Scott.
