It appears Daniel Radcliffe won't be becoming a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe any time soon. While rumors have been circling the Harry Potter actor, suggesting that he may be primed to step into Marvel Studios' Disney + Moon Knight series as the titular character, according to the actor, that's not the case.

Though he doesn't say whether he was actually approached by Marvel, Radcliffe explained if he were to ever become associated with another major franchise, it would have to meet some incredibly high standards.

"If I was ever to go back into a franchise, I think the bar for that script would be even higher than anything else," Radcliffe told Coming Soon. "Before you can sign on to being in anything for multiple years, you have to be sure you're really going to love it all the time. I'm not averse to doing any kind of franchise thing in the future again, that could be fun. But the Moon Knight rumors are untrue, I can officially debunk that one. I haven't heard anything about it."

Disney +'s Moon Knight series has yet to receive a release date. At the time of writing, the production's cast has not been announced.
