Dane DeHaan -- who played Harry Osborn/Green Goblin in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 -- will not be among the Spider-Man movie alums reprising their roles for Marvel Studios' Spider-Man: No Way Home -- but he also hasn't ruled out appearing in more superhero projects down the road.

"I would definitely hope to take on a new thing, for sure," DeHaan said in an interview with ComicBook.com. "What's exciting to me is always doing new things, and I'm sure something like that will come along again in my life, and I'm excited to see what it is."

While past actors like Andrew Garfield have been less clear about a return to the Spider-Man franchise and others like Alfred Molina have happily confirmed their returns, DeHaan has no plans to play Peter Parker's friend turned nemesis a second time. However, he does seem to have a soft spot for another comic book adaptation he starred in, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.

"I already do have some toys that I give to my daughter," he said. "She has a little Funko Pop! Valerian guy of me that she calls her 'dada toy.' And that's definitely a lot easier to explain than Green Goblin, for sure."
