"Downton Abbey" alum Dan Stevens will reportedly star opposite Anne Hathaway and Jason Sudeikis in the giant-monster movie "Colossal."

According to Variety, he'll play the ex-boyfriend of Hathaway's character, a woman who discovers she's somehow connected to a giant creature that's wreaking havoc in Seoul, South Korea. Producer Voltage Pictures was sued in May by the Japanese studio Toho, which calls "Colossal" "an unauthorized ‘Godzilla’ film."

Tim Blake Nelson and Austin Stowell  have also boarded the Nacho Vigalondo film, which is shooting in Vancouver.

Stevens, whose credits also include "The Guest" and "Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb," will also star opposite Emma Watson in Disney's live-action/CGI "Beauty and the Beast."
