For those wondering where Booster Gold has been since DC Comics' "Rebirth" initiative began last year, some answers may be coming sooner than you think. The fan-favorite superhero's creator, Dan Jurgens, teased the return of the character Tuesday on Twitter.

Feels good to stretch the drawing muscles again. Won't tell you who.

But the character's initials are BG.— Dan Jurgens (@thedanjurgens) February 7, 2017

"Feels good to stretch the drawing muscles again," Jurgens tweeted. While not directly mentioning which character he was illustrating, he playfully added, "The character's initials are BG." Jurgens' tweet doesn't mention if he's also writing the hero he created in 1985, and there is also no word if the character will be featured in a new series, or solely as a guest star in another title.

Jurgens' creative duties at DC have largely been in a writer's capacity since before "Rebirth," as he's currently the writer on both "Action Comics" and "Batman Beyond." He last drew Booster Gold in 2011, when the ongoing series featuring the character ended with the onset of DC's "New 52" relaunch.

Another Twitter user jokingly speculated that the initials "BG" perhaps were in reference to comedian Bobcat Goldthwait, which Jurgens just as jokingly dismissed.
