Damon Lindelof To Write Secret Sci-Fi Adventure For Disney

Lost co-creator Damon Lindelof has signed a seven-figure deal with Disney to write and produce an original sci-fi family adventure film, Deadline reports.

No details are known beyond the feature's working title, 1952, but the project apparently came out of a series of meetings between the writer and studio production president Sean Bailey.

Lindelof has been on a roll lately, producing J.J. Abrams' hit 2009 Star Trek reboot, working with Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci on  Cowboys & Aliens, and reteaming with the pair on the upcoming Star Trek sequel. He also rewrote Ridley Scott's Prometheus, and is a consulting producer on ABC's upcoming fairy-tale drama Once Upon a Time.
