The new Robin series will feature a multitude of outfits, courtesy of artist Gleb Melnikov.Series writer Joshua Williamson revealed the news on Twitter, alongside an image of Damian wearing what looks to be a black hooded vest over a gray shirt and a gold-bedazzled glove. The outfit resembles the one Damian is shown wearing in promo images for DC's Infinite Frontier initiative, which begins in March.RELATED: DC's Slate Expands with Green Lantern, Damian Wayne and a New Batman Villain in April 2021

"Gleb designed more than one new costume for Damian. WE haven't even shown them all yet. Turning the son of the bat into a fashion icon," Williamson wrote. Damian is also shown wearing a red and black Robin costume on the cover of Robin #1.

The new Robin series will feature Damian entering the  League of Lazarus tournament in order to prove he is the greatest fighter in the DC Universe. "Being a big fan of Damian Wayne, I'm really excited about getting him back on a hero's journey," Williamson said while discussing the series. Damian will explore his identity in a two-part story in Batman #106 and Detective Comics #1024, which pits him against the forces of his grandfather Ra's al Ghul. This comes n the wake of him rejecting his father and being expelled from the Teen Titans.

Written by Joshua Williams and illustrated by Gleb Melnikov, Robin #1 goes on sale Tuesday, April 27 from DC.
