When the Batman titles move into DC's Infinite Frontier, they will address Damian Wayne's new superhero identity.
The former Robin had a falling out with his father and was recently kicked out of the Teen Titans, and Batman #106 and Detective Comics #1034 will pick up on this story thread with a two-part backup story titled "Demon or Detective." Written by Joshua Williamson (Batman/Superman, The Flash) and illustrated by Gleb Melnikov (Angel), the story pits Damian against his mother Talia as well as a splinter faction of the League of Assassins, titled "the League of Lazarus" after the rejuvenating Lazarus Pits used by Damian's grandfather Ra's al Ghul.
In both Batman #106 and Detective Comics #1034, the Dark Knight will deal with the fallout from "Joker War" and a Gotham City that no longer trusts vigilantes. Batman #106 will also feature the Scarecrow, who writer James Tynion IV has described as his "favorite villain." The books will also deal with threads that began in DC Future State, as the anti-vigilante task force known as the Magistrate is hinted to show up in Batman #106. Tynion has also said that Tim Fox-- who becomes Batman in Future State -- will play a large role in his run.
