An eagle-eyed fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has spotted another Damage Control cameo hiding in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

The U.S. government organization took over the clean-up of Chitauri technology from Adrian Toomes' crew, and ultimately sent Michael Keaton's character on his villainous spiral to becoming Vulture. While it originally looked as if Damage Control appeared only in the film's opening, it turns out the organization popped up again later.

Reddit user MaximumVibe noticed the two Damage Control agents who butted heads with Toomes were also there after Peter Parker foiled the ATM attack of Vulture's goons wearing Avengers masks.

The woman on the left is Tyne Daly, reprising her role as Damage Control Director Anne Marie Hoag, while the man appears to be Gary Weeks' Agent Foster. The casting of Daly in Homecoming was big news and even had fans guessing she might be playing a gender-swapped J. Jonah Jameson.

Spider-Man: Homecoming revealed that Tony Stark had set up Damage Control in the wake of the Battle of New York depicted in 2012's The Avengers, but the department has yet to make much of an impact on the franchise. That Daly's character reappears may suggest Damage Control once had a larger part in Homecoming. Another option is that director Jon Watts simply included an Easter egg that no one spotted until now.

As alien tech caused the destruction at the ATM, it makes sense that Damage Control was on the scene again. Still, it seems odd that the team would be there without so much as even a mention. With Homecoming being an action-packed movie that also included brief appearances from Prowler, Betty Brant and Silk, Watts set the ball rolling for a number of possible character arcs in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: Far From Home stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker, the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. It's scheduled to be released on July 5, 2019.
