Due to failed negotiation talks between Disney and Sony, Spider-Man is no longer part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While many fans have taken issue with this development and taken to social media to air their grievances, one fan went the extra mile during the D23 Expo in Anaheim over the weekend, leaving a small memorial to Tom Holland's version of Spidey. The shrine was noticed by Twitter user @iclarke95, who took and subsequently shared a video to the social media platform. The 10-second clip begins with a shot of the D23 Expo sign, before the camera descends to the ground, and zooms in on a small memorial for the Webbed Wonder in front of the sign.RELATED: Jeff Goldblum Has No Clue the Marvel/Sony Spider-Man Drama Exists

The memorial consists of a still image of Holland's Spider-Man in his first MCU costume with superimposed art by veteran Spidey artist Mark Bagley from the Ultimate Spider-Man comic series. In front of the photo sit flowers and artificial candles. (It should be noted that while the Sony/Disney deal may be dead, Holland is expected to reprise his role as Peter Parker in a Sony-produced sequel.)

Above the video, the Twitter user spouts Aunt May's infamous line from the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming -- which was later repeated by Peter at the end of Far From Home -- adding a bit of levity to the tweet.
