CD Projekt Red has been under fire since the release of Cyberpunk 2077, owing to its performance on last-gen consoles. The developer had previously provided assurances to consumers, promising that the game would be able to run. However, players soon found that the game was riddled with a number of issues, ranging from minor bugs to consistent crashes that made progress through the game impossible.

The Polish video game developer has issued an apology and outlets such as PlayStation Store have offered full refunds for Cyberpunk 2077. However, the effect of the game has been such that investors have moved to file lawsuits against CD Projekt Red, alleging misinformation and false claims, as the developer had stated the game was playable in conference calls and the like.

Developed by CD Projekt Red, Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia and PC.
