Keanu Reeves, who stars in CD Projekt Red's eagerly anticipated video game Cyberpunk 2077 as Johnny Silverhand, features in the latest teaser trailer for the upcoming title.
Reeves confidently strides through the streets at night while urging players to embrace their impulsive side and seize the day before burning it all down and taking the wheel of a slick sports car.
"In 2077, what makes someone a criminal? Getting caught," Reeves says with a smirk as the pulsating soundtrack begins to soar. "In Night City, you can become anyone, anything, if your body can pay the price. So seize the day and set it on fire."
Set the dystopian, futuristic Night City in the Free State of Northern California, corporations run the world while gang wars constantly rage on the streets. As players navigate the chaotic world, Silverhand encourages them to take a walk on the wild side.
Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. You can customize your character’s cyberware, skillset and playstyle, and explore a vast city where the choices you make shape the story and the world around you.
Developed by CD Projekt Red, Cyberpunk 2077 arrives on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia and PC Nov. 19, and the game will also be available for the upcoming Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
