The network recently re-confirmed that it will air the second half of Superman & Lois Season 1 in May after the DC TV series took a brief, two-month hiatus "due to a COVID-related production interruption" earlier in the season. This led to Supergirl Season 6 taking the show's spot in The CW's Tuesday evening lineup. The final episodes of Supergirl will air this summer.

Production on the second half of Season 1 has been underway with Tulloch, who plays Lois Lane, recently posting a behind-the-scenes video from the Kent family farm. "The weather in Vancouver today almost makes up for the weather the last 6 months," Tulloch wrote on Twitter. While the weather on set and in Smallville may be idyllic, a new trailer for the last half of the show's first season teases trouble for the Kent family, including Captain Luther finding a cave full of X-Kryptonite.

Superman & Lois stars Tyler Hoechlin, Elizabeth Tulloch, Dylan Walsh, Alex Garfin, Jordan Elsass, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Inde Navarrette and Wolé Parks. The series returns May 18 and will air Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
