The 2020-21 television season will see plenty of returning faces, as The CW has renewed 13 series.

Accord to THRBatwoman and Nancy Drew will each return for second seasons, All AmericanCharmedIn the Dark and Roswell, New Mexico for third seasons, Black Lightning and Dynasty for fourth seasons, Riverdale for a fifth season, DC's Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl for sixth seasons and The Flash for a seventh season. Absent from this list are ArrowSupernatural and The 100, which each conclude this year.

"These early orders for next season give our production teams a head start in plotting out story arcs and a jump on hiring staff, and this also provides us with a strong foundation of established, fan-favorite CW shows to build on for next season," CW President Mark Pedowitz said. "We've been thrilled with the creative direction of all three new series, and even though we are in the very early stages of our new full stack streaming strategy, which allows viewers to catch up on our new shows from the beginning, we’re already seeing incredibly positive results from our multi-platform viewership for Nancy Drew and Batwoman."

The 2020-21 season won't just be more of the same, though. In addition to the 13 returning series, The CW will welcome newcomers Walker, Texas RangerKung Fu Green Arrow and the CanariesSuperman & Lois and a Dark Shadows sequel series.
