The CW has shared a first look at the upcoming series Naomi.

The image features Kaci Walfall's Naomi holding a photograph as digital lines and dots evoke the look of an investigation constructed with yarn, tacks and a corkboard. This is almost an exact recreation of Jamal Campbell's cover art for Naomi #1, which he worked on with Brian Michael Bendis and David F. Walker.

Created by Bendis, Walker and Campbell, Naomi McDuffie is a relatively new DC hero, first appearing in her own series in 2019 under DC's Wonder Comics imprint. The character is a normal girl who eventually encounters Superman, discovers her parents are from another world and eventually joins the Young Justice team. She eventually undergoes a transformation to become her superhero alter ego, known simply as Naomi, and can use her powers for flight, super-strength and energy manipulation. She also wears a unique suit of armor that serves as her costume.

From award-winning executive producer Ava DuVernay and Jill Blankenship and ARRAY Filmworks in association with Warner Bros. Television, Naomi follows a teen girl’s journey from her small northwestern town to the heights of the multiverse. When a supernatural event shakes her hometown to the core, Naomi sets out to uncover its origins, and what she discovers will challenge everything we believe about our heroes. Based on the characters from DC.

Naomi stars Kaci Walfall, Alexander Wraith, Cranston Johnson and Camila Moreno. The series has yet to receive a premiere date.
