Cryptozoic Entertainment has partnered with Cartoon Books to produce a line of vinyl figures based on Jeff Smith bestselling fantasy adventure Bone.
Prototypes of the Fone, Phoney and Smiley are on display at Toy Fair 2015, which continues through Tuesday in New York City. The figures are scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of the year.
"The world of Bone is a perfect fit for a vinyl figure product line," Cryptozoic Creative Director Jeff Parker said in a statement. "We are excited to embark upon an adventure alongside Cartoon Books to bring it to life."
“I’m looking forward to working with Cryptozoic,” Smith added. "I’m really a kid at heart and I love toys and figures. I already have a spot cleared out for this one right next to my computer!”
Debuting in 1991, Bone has been published in 28 countries, and has sold more than 6 million copies in North America alone.
