As the beginning of the fall season carries on, anime streaming service Crunchyroll has revealed the 20 most-viewed anime titles between the months of August and September.

The streaming service mentions its global viewerbse spends approximately 85 minutes per day watching the various series available through the service. Some older shows have managed to retain high viewership, along with some fairly new animes that premiered their latest seasons in 2019.

Crunchyroll continues to be the most popular anime streaming platform out there, due to its wealth of known and niche titles and attractive price point. Notably, however, Crunchyroll raised the price of its subscription service from $6.95 to $7.99 per month this past May.

A spokesperson explained the price increase along with the announcement. "This price increase will help us bring our community more of their favorite shows, allowing us to create even more experiences for them to connect with each other and through shared passion for anime."

The company also announced a partnership with Adult Swim following its split with Funimation. With more internet television platforms on the horizon, Crunchyroll will have stiff competition to keep viewership high.
