Disney released a new featurette for the Emma Stone-led 101 Dalmations prequel Cruella, as well as a set of new posters showing off the core cast of characters.

In addition to showing off anti-hero Estelle (who will later become Cruella De Vil) and fashionista Baroness Von Hellman (introduced in an earlier trailer for Cruella and played by Emma Thompson), several supporting characters have been given new portraits. Jasper (Joel Fry) and Horace (Paul Walter Hauser) -- thuggish hired goons known as the Badun Brothers -- have each received their own poster. The set also includes a closer look at Anita Tattletale (played by Kirby Howell-Baptiste), a journalist and friend of Estelle's. The featurette shows fresh footage of the characters in action, as well as Stone explaining the mindset behind Cruella.

While Stone describes her character as "villainous," she also mentions that one of the most compelling aspects of Cruella is "her creativity. She's very good at what she does: designing. The character is so much fun, and so intoxicating." Cruella herself even waxes poetic, saying "I want to make art and I want to make trouble" as she stands on the hood of a parked car, swarmed by photographers. Stone previously laughed off comparisons between Cruella and Todd Phillips' Joker.

Academy Award winner Emma Stone stars in Disney’s Cruella, an all-new live-action feature film about the rebellious early days of one of cinema's most notorious – and notoriously fashionable – villains, the legendary Cruella de Vil. Cruella, which is set in 1970s London amidst the punk rock revolution, follows a young grifter named Estella, a clever and creative girl determined to make a name for herself with her designs. She befriends a pair of young thieves who appreciate her appetite for mischief, and together they are able to build a life for themselves on the London streets. One day, Estella’s flair for fashion catches the eye of the Baroness von Hellman, a fashion legend who is devastatingly chic and terrifyingly haute, played by two-time Oscar winner Emma Thompson. But their relationship sets in motion a course of events and revelations that will cause Estella to embrace her wicked side and become the raucous, fashionable and revenge-bent Cruella.

Directed by Craig Gillespie, Cruella stars Emma Stone, Emma Thompson, Paul Walter Hauser, Joel Fry and Emily Beecham. The film arrives in theaters and on Disney+ Premiere Access on May 28.
