CrossGen comics now available in Scandanavia

TAMPA, FL., April 1, 2002 - Continuing its worldwide expansion, CrossGenComics has signed a publishing deal with Egmont Serieförlaget to publishCrossGen's comics for the newsstand, comic shop and bookstore market in thecountries of Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark. Each edition will betranslated into that area's native language of Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish,and Danish. This new publishing agreement means CrossGen Comics are nowavailable in at least 30 foreign countries and in nine foreign languages.

The first issue will be released under the title of Magic Fantasy #1 andwill contain the first issues of CrossGen's four monthly titles, Sojourn,Mystic, Scion and Meridian. Starting with issue #2, Magic Fantasy willcontain subsequent issues of these four titles in sequence. Following therelease of Magic Fantasy, Egmont Serieförlaget will publish a tradepaperback containing the first six issues of Sigil.

Publication of Magic Fantasy by Egmont Serieförlaget will begin in May 2002and each issue will ship bi-monthly. The contract also provides for thetranslations of CrossGen's titles to be used in its Comics on the Weboffering, as well.

Ulf Granberg, Editor-in-Chief of Egmont Serieförlaget is eager to getstarted.

According to James Breitbeil, CrossGen's Director of Marketing andDistribution, the signing of this agreement is further proof of CrossGenworldwide acceptance.
