Crisis on Infinite Earths will unite DC heroes from all over the CW television show landscape, including multiple different iterations of Superman. A conversation between Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and her universe's Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) was teased in a newly released clip.

TV Line's exclusive footage shows Kara and Clark amidst an intense heart to heart, mourning the loss of Argo City. The footage can be seen below.

The crossover will be five parts, each telling an interconnected story. During the first hour, Argo City will be destroyed, leaving Kara and Clark devastated in its wake.

It wouldn't be Crisis on Infinite Earths if the entire multiverse wasn't at stake. During Kara and Clark's heartfelt conversation on the balcony, she vows that they will save their Earth as well as "Lois and Johnathan." To make matters more depressing, it is revealed that Kara loses her mother during the city's collapse. Clark is astounded at how Kara can remain so hopeful despite devastating losses.

"Crisis on Infinite Earths" begins Sunday, Dec. 8 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Supergirl, then continues in Batwoman on Monday, Dec. 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT and in The Flash on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. After the winter hiatus, the crossover will conclude on Tuesday, Jan. 14 in Arrow at 8 p.m. ET/PT and in DC's Legends of Tomorrow at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
