WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for "Crisis on Infinite Earths," the latest Arrowverse crossover.
Orchestrating all of the various cameos in "Crisis on Infinite Earths" must have been a Herculean task for showrunner Marc Guggenheim, but the toughest had to be the inclusion of Ezra Miller's Flash from the DC Extended Universe.
Guggenheim spoke about the shocking cameo in a Twitter post, where he also thanked DC's Chief Creative Officer Jim Lee for making Miller's appearance happen.
"Iâm doing a few interviews tomorrow and Iâm sure the subject of Ezraâs appearance will come up, but what you need to know right now is that gentleman and scholar, @JimLee, was instrumental in making this moment happen," Guggenheim revealed.
Many of the Arrowverse stars were surprised to see Miller standing face-to-face with Grant Gustin's Flash, as they shared their reactions on Gustin's Instagram post, which featured the two stars on set.
"Crisis on Infinite Earths," the latest five-show crossover between all the Arrowverse series, will soon be available on The CW's streaming service in its entirety.
