Smallville stars Tom Welling and Erica Durance are both confirmed to reprise their fan-favorite roles as Clark Kent and Lois Lane in the upcoming Arrowverse crossover "Crisis on Infinite Earths." Now, details about what the characters have been up to since the Season 10 finale have emerged.

Longtime Arrowverse producer Marc Guggenheim, who is overseeing production on the crossover, responded to a fan on Twitter who asked if the Smallville comic books are canon. Guggenheim noted that, while the events in the comics would not be directly addressed, they are considered canon by the creative team.
