With Batman: The Animated Series star Kevin Conroy set to play an older version of Bruce Wayne for the Arrowverse's "Crisis on Infinite Earths" crossover, the voice actor has shown support for Mark Hamill reprising his role as the Clown Prince of Crime for the event.
On Twitter, a fan remarked they'd like to see both Conroy's Batman and Hamill's Joker appear in live-action for the event. Conroy showed he was open to the idea by replying, "Very cool idea! Are you listening [Mark Hamill]?"
Hamill first played Joker in Batman: TAS and later reprised the role for several other animated outings and video games. The actor is no stranger to the Arrowverse, having played both the Earth-1 and Earth-2 versions of fan-favorite The Flash villain the Trickster. He also previously played the character in the short-lived 1990 The Flash series.
In addition to Conroy, "Crisis on Infinite Earths" will feature Brandon Routh as Kingdom Come Superman and Burt Ward in an undisclosed role.
"Crisis On Infinite Earths" kicks off Sunday, Dec. 8, with Supergirl, and continues Monday, Dec. 9, with Batwoman, Tuesday, Dec. 10, with The Flash, Tuesday, Jan. 14, with Arrow, and concludes Tuesday, Jan. 14, with DC's Legends of Tomorrow.
