WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for "Crisis on Infinite Earths," the latest Arrowverse crossover.

One of the biggest surprises of the two-part conclusion of The CW's massive "Crisis on Infinite Earths" crossover was undoubtedly Ezra Miller's cameo as Barry Allen/The Flash. The Justice League star appeared alongside Grant Gustin's Scarlet Speedster, effectively connecting the DC Extended Universe with the Arrowverse.

In the wake of the massive surprise, actor Grant Gustin has shared a series of behind-the-scenes photos of the epic scene, thanking Ezra Miller for his appearance in the most ambitious Arrowverse event to date.

"How about that?" Gustin wrote in the post's caption. "Ezra is one of a kind. So glad we could make this happen and keep it a secret until today. Thank you to @dccomics."

In "Crisis on Infinite Earths, Pt. 4," Gustin's Barry Allen travelled through the Speed Force in search of his missing allies. It's there that he came across Miller's Flash, the Barry Allen from the Earth audiences came to know in the Justice League film.

Ezra Miller is currently slated to star in a solo The Flash film directed by Andy Muschietti. The film, which hits theaters July 1, 2022, is said to adapt a different version of the crucial Flashpoint comic storyline -- an event that was also briefly explored in The Flash's third season.
