With under a month left until "Crisis on Infinite Earths," The CW has released new photos from the first installment of the major Arrowverse crossover.
The new stills from "Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part One" show a handful of Arrowverse heroes assembled at the D.E.O. on Supergirl's Earth. Green Arrow, Flash, Supergirl, Batwoman, the Atom, Martian Manhunter, Superman, Lois Lane, White Canary, Brianiac-5, Alex Danvers, Mia Smoak and Lyla Michaels can be seen in different groupings across the photos.
Notably, Lyla is wearing her Harbinger costume. This suggests her connection to the Monitor has been revealed, at least to the heroes present. At the time of writing, it is unclear how Lyla became involved with the Monitor or how it will factor into The CW's "Crisis." In the comics, though, she summoned the heroes he required to protect the cosmic tuning forks, though she was later possessed by a Shadow Demon which allowed the Anti-Monitor to corrupt her into killing the Monitor.
Supergirl will play host to "Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part One," which will air an hour earlier than usual on Sunday, December 8. It makes sense, then, that the Arrowverse has assembled on Earth-38, her world.
"Crisis on Infinite Earths" begins Sunday, Dec. 8 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Supergirl, then continues in Batwoman on Monday, Dec. 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT and in The Flash on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. After the winter hiatus, the crossover will conclude on Tuesday, Jan. 14 in Arrow at 8 p.m. ET/PT and in DC's Legends of Tomorrow at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
