Brandon Routh's Kingdom Come Superman doesn't look too pleased to meet Tyler Hoechlin's Man of Steel in the latest photo from "Crisis on Infinite Earths."

Judging by some previously released stills, the photo appears to take place on Kingdom Come Superman's Earth, where he is the Editor-in-Chief of The Daily Planet. Kingdom Come Superman's face is a mask of rage as he grips his doppelganger by the throat in front of an article about an attack on the Daily Planet offices. Both Supermen gaze off-screen, which means someone could be trying to talk him down from whatever he plans to do.

In the final trailer for the upcoming crossover event, Hoechlin's Superman is charged with an important role: "The entire universe needs you." Though the trailer doesn't come out and say exactly what that is, he can be seen trying to recruit Smallville's own Superman, Tom Welling. This suggests he may be looking for other Supermen to help save the mutliverse from utter destruction, which will likely lead him to this violent moment with Kingdom Come Superman.

As it were, Kingdom Come Superman doesn't look too thrilled to see an alternate-world version of himself. Of course, Kingdom Come Superman is much older and has seen more than the one Tyler Hoechlin plays, which could factor into this response. You'd probably be unsettled to see a different version of yourself, too.

"Crisis on Infinite Earths" begins Sunday, Dec. 8 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Supergirl, then continues in Batwoman on Monday, Dec. 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT and in The Flash on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. After the winter hiatus, the crossover will conclude on Tuesday, Jan. 14 in Arrow at 8 p.m. ET/PT and in DC's Legends of Tomorrow at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
