WARNING: The following contains spoilers for "Crisis on Infinite Earths, Part 3," which premiered Tuesday on The CW.

As "Crisis on Infinite Earths" heads into a month-long hiatus for the holidays before returning for its climactic final battle, the fate of the DCTV Multiverse rests in the hands of the Arrowverse's Paragons.

Assembled from across the Multiverse by the Monitor, the seven Paragons each represent a different elements of the human condition including destiny, hope, love, courage, truth, honor and humanity. Assembled, their efforts could defeat the Anti-Monitor, with a behind-the-scenes featurette released by The CW explaining their importance to the crossover.

Crisis showrunner and executive producer Marc Guggenheim observed that the crossover is largely driven by the search for the Paragons, with a clip shown of Supergirl reassuring Batwoman that she is worthy to become the Paragon of Courage.

With the Monitor dead and the Kingdom Come Superman suddenly replaced by Lex Luthor as the Paragon of Truth, the assembled figures are in for a daunting confrontation against the Anti-Monitor when the crossover resumes next month.
