Showrunner and special effects designer Greg Nicotero revealed Season 2 of the Shudder series Creepshow will be delayed indefinitely due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. However, as a tease, he posted a video of one of the puppets for an upcoming episode of the horror anthology show.

The enormous spider puppet is approximately human-sized, as evidenced by a gloved hand manipulating one of the legs to make the creature move. Nicotero, in the caption, noted the puppet is still undergoing some fine-tuning, and one can imagine with the proper filming and music cues to join it, it will be much scarier than what we see in the video. He also noted this has been a difficult piece to work on, as he is terrified of spiders.

Creepshow premiered on Shudder in 2019 and is based on the 1982 George A. Romero/Stephen King film of the same name. Both the film and the series take their inspiration from the pre-Code EC horror comics of the 1950s, with the stories told by "The Creep" (the host of the series) coming from the pages of an old horror comic. The original movie was turned into a graphic novel soon after its theatrical release, adapting each of the stories with art by Bernie Wrightson.

Developed by Greg Nicotero, Creepshow Season 2 has yet to receive a premiere date.
