The second trailer for Creed II is here and it's shaping up to be the most personal fight of Adonis Creed's entire life.
The latest look at the upcoming sequel to 2015's Creed shows Michael B. Jordan reprising his role as Apollo Creed's son with legendary heavyweight Rocky Balboa as his mentor. The two men quickly find themselves drawn back into the game when Ivan Drago and his son Viktor issue a challenge to face the young boxer in the ring.
"I don't have a choice!" shouts a frustrated Adonis.
"That's exactly what your father said and I watched him die right here in my arms," reflects Rocky of Apollo's death at the hands of the elder Drago in 1985's Rocky IV.
As the two boxers prepare for a grudge match of the ages undergoing grueling training routines, Adonis' quest for revenge threatens to overtake his own growing family including Tessa Thompson's Bianca with their young baby now in tow.
"Don't pretend this about your father," snaps Adonis' mother Mary Anne Creed (Phylicia Rashad).
Creed II is directed by Stephen Caple Jr. (The Land) from a script written by Sylvester Stallone and Cheo Hodari Coker (Luke Cage). The film stars Michael B. Jordan, Sylvester Stallone, Tessa Thompson, Dolph Lundgren, Florian Munteanu, and Phylicia Rashad. The film arrives in theaters on November 21.
