However, according to a new data leak, the upcoming title may also be coming to the Nintendo Switch in the near future.Twitter user @SunwerPrower shared that data on the game's official website included elements in the code hinting at an option to access a Switch version of the site. While there has been no official confirmation from Nintendo or Activision Blizzard, the game's publisher, a potential announcement may come as part of the next Nintendo Direct presentation expected for later this month.

Developed by Naughty Dog for the original PlayStation in 1996, Crash Bandicoot stars the wacky, eponymous marsupial as he battles against the mad scientist Doctor Neo Cortex. The upcoming sequel will have Crash travel through time and space to thwart Cortex's latest plot after the villain was previously stranded in the distant past.
