<i>Cowboys &amp; Aliens</i> Adds Three More Gunslingers

Three new gunslingers have saddled up to star in Cowboys & Aliens, director Jon Favreau's upcoming comic book adaptation about an alien invasion in the wild west.

According to Deadline, Paul Dano (There Will Be Blood, Little Miss Sunshine) and Clancy Brown (The Shawshank Redemption, Lost) have joined the cast as cowboys who enlists to take on the extraterrestrial threat. Keith Carradine (Deadwood, Dexter) also stars as the sheriff of Absolution.

The trio joins an impressive cast list including Daniel Craig (Casino Royale) as an amnesiac stranger with a key secret to defeating the aliens, Harrison Ford (Indiana Jones) as the iron-fisted Colonel Dolarhyde, Olivia Wilde (Tron Legacy) as the elusive traveler Ella and Sam Rockwell (Iron Man 2) as Doc the bartender.

Over the weekend, Favreau teased the following on Twitter: "Spent the week prepping Cowboys & Aliens. Shot 3D tests. Weighing out all options."
