Humble Bundle raised almost $1.2 million for communities in India and Brazil from sales of its "Humble Heal: COVID-19 Bundle."

Humble Bundle announced in a new blog post that it sold 54,374 bundles and raised $1,170,824 for coronavirus (COVID-19) relief, which will be donated to Direct Relief, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), International Medical Corps and GiveIndia.

"Direct Relief is tremendously grateful to Humble Bundle and its community of passionate and generous people. Their collective efforts will translate to critically-needed medicines, supplies, and other resources to the hardest-hit communities in India and Brazil as they continue to battle rising cases of COVID-19," Heather Bennett, Vice President of Partnerships and Philanthropy at Direct Relief, said in an official statement.

She continued, "The generosity received as a result of Humble Bundle’s effort is deeply inspiring and will serve as a force-multiplier to get more aid into these areas to improve the health and lives of those who are most vulnerable."

Avril Benoît, Executive Director of Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières in the United States, added, "With your generous donations, we will be able to support our lifesaving work in India and Brazil. Amid devastating waves of COVID-19, our aid workers are caring for the most vulnerable people, supporting overwhelmed health systems, and keeping essential health services available."

Meanwhile, International Medical Corps Chief Marketing Officer Rebecca Milner noted that donations from Humble Bundle will go toward oxygen supplies, medical equipment and personal protective equipment, among other things, and GiveIndia Director Priyana Prakash explained they will use the donations "to provide critical patients with life-saving aid, meals to hungry families, and cash relief to low-income families."

Humble Bundle launched the "Humble Heal: COVID-19 Bundle" in early May. The limited-time bundle featured a variety of popular games, ebooks and software, including indie RPG Undertale, award-winning puzzle game Baba Is You, and self-help book Unf*ck Your Worth, as well as Superhot and War Groove: Double Trouble.

The Humble Heal bundle marked the second charity bundle released by Humble Bundle, following the launch of the "Humble Conquer COVID-19 Bundle" in March. Sales of that exclusive bundle raised more than $6.5 million, with 100 percent of proceeds going toward COVID-19 relief efforts being led by the International Rescue Committee (IRC), Doctors Without Borders, Partners In Health and Direct Relief.

Since 2010, Humble has contributed more than $195 million to charities and has over 12 million customers around the world.
