Hot on the heels of the first 30-second look at Ridley Scott's upcoming Alien-related sci-fi action flick Prometheus, another preview has dropped. Alien Prequel News posted the above trailer which, like the previous one, is actually a teaser for the full trailer scheduled to appear Thursday. The trailer doesn't give too much away other than that there will be explosions, running and tension, but what else would you expect?
Prometheus features a group of explorers and scientists who run afoul of alien predators. Scott says the end of this movie will flow into the Alien films, but has yet to go into further detail. The only other big piece of information we have is that the elephant-looking alien dubbed the Space Jockey from the first film who sent out the distress signal that Ripley and crew answered will feature prominently. The somewhat-prequel, which stars Charlies Theron, Idris Elba, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Noomi Rapace and Patrick Wilson, is scheduled to open June 8.
