The latest update to DC Universe Online brings players right in the middle of the war between the DC Multiverse's gods in the new event "Wonderverse."
A launch trailer for the event shows the Wonder Women of the DC Multiverse assembling as the Ancient Greek pantheon and New Gods go to war, leaving the heroes scrambling to repair the shattered Source Wall before the universes collapse on themselves. The event's five Wonder Women, each from a different fan-favorite world in the Multiverse were exclusively unveiled by CBR last week.
As the 38th episode in DC Universe Online's regular updates and events, the event comes with new daily and weekly raid missions, raids, world bosses and other features as players team up with the Council of Wonder Women to save all of reality from this cataclysmic event. The episode is free to members and available to purchase for non-members in the in-game marketplace. For a limited time, content from the "Wonderverse" event will be available to all players until the release of the next episode for the free-to-play MMO RPG.
DC Universe Online was launched in 2011 and offers both free-to-play and subscription-based models for players as they create their own heroes and villains to fight alongside the iconic characters of the DCU in the comic book mythos' fan-favorite locations.
Available on Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, DC Universe Online's "Wonderverse" episode releases July 30. The episode is free for active members or $9.99 USD for non-members.
