Nickelodeon's Kid's Choice Awards have been postponed due to coronavirus concerns.

"The Kids’ Choice Awards scheduled for March 22, 2020, in Los Angeles is being postponed in consideration of the safety and well-being of every person involved with the show, which is our top priority," Nickelodeon said in a statement obtained by Deadline. "We will have further information about a new date in the future."

The event was scheduled for Sunday, March 22 at the Forum in Inglewood, CA, with Grammy Award-winner Chance the Rapper set to host.

This news comes after the Entertainment Software Association announced that the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) would not be taking place due to coronavirus concerns. Meanwhile, New York talk and late-night shows opted to tape sans studio audiences.

Avengers: Endgame led the Kid's Choice Awards nominees with 11, followed by Taylor Swift with 5. A Series of Unfortunate Events, All That and Henry Danger were among the nominees for favorite kids TV show.

Nickelodeon's Kid's Choice Awards 2020 is produced by Nickelodeon Productions, with Micheal Dempsey and Jay Schmalholz serving as executive producers. At the time of this writing, it's unclear when the show will air.
