Dr. Anthony Fauci, the leading medical expert for the coronavirus (COVID-19), is getting his own bobblehead courtesy of the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum.

Fauci, who is also director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, will be getting a seven-inch bobblehead from the NBHFM. The bobblehead will be used to help raise money for the American Hospital Association's Protect the Heroes Campaign.

The institution will be donating $5 from every Fauci bobblehead sold to the AHA to help support the 100 Million Mask Challenge. This campaign's mission is to provide health care workers with personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect them from the threat of the coronavirus.

Because of this large demand, there has been a worldwide shortage of PPE. Purchasing the Fauci bobblehead will increase the production and distribution of more PPE for health care workers.

Fauci's likeness being used as the basis for this bobblehead cements his place as the leading voice in the fight against the coronavirus. He has been following the coronavirus outbreak since it started and has used his platform to keep the public informed about the pandemic and safety tips that everyone should follow.

The Dr. Fauci Bobblehead can be pre-ordered here. The product is expected to start shipping this July.
