For Constantine fans, March is the month they've been waiting for -- Warner Bros. Television has officially announced the animated series starring the fan-favorite character will debut March 24 on streaming service CW Seed. That same day, the show will be the subject of a panel at the WonderCon comic convention in Anaheim, California, featuring series star Matt Ryan, writer J.M. DeMatteis and Blue Ribbon Content & Warner Bros. Animation exec Peter Girardi.

The Constantine animated series is a continuation of the live-action series that ran on NBC from 2014 to 2015, also starring Ryan. Following Ryan's subsequent appearances as Constantine on Arrow and DC's Legends of Tomorrow, the series is also set in the shared continuity of the Arowverse. DeMatteis, well known to comic book fans for his work on Justice League International and various Spider-Man series among many other high-profile projects, wrote the series.
