The next installment in the Fast & Furious family has been given a title: "Fast 8."
Vin Diesel confirmed the title on Instagram with the following teaser image that hypes the film's April 2017 release date, in addition to confirming its New York City setting:
As you can see, "Fast 8's" tagline is "New Roads Ahead," which follows in the theme of previous "Fast & Furious" taglines like "All Roads Lead to This."
Diesel teased the title last summer at the Teen Choice Awards, but there had been no confirmation on the "Fast 8" moniker until now.
"Fast 8" races into theatres on April 14, 2017.
