While the Scarlet Witch started off as a villain in 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron along with her brother Quicksilver, she eventually left her alliance with the insane Ultron and defected to the side of good, becoming one of the most powerful members of Earth's Mightiest Heroes thanks to her psionic powers. She has since appeared in successive Marvel Cinematic Universe movies Captain America: Civil WarAvengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.

Concept art for Wanda Maximoff shared on Instagram by Andy Park shows off a different version of the heroine's final costume in Age of Ultron's ending, which was only seen for a short amount of time. The artwork reveals the outfit worn by Wanda in the film's final moments while she seemingly glances at the viewer.

There are some noticeable differences between Park's design and the final product seen in Age of Ultron, such as a portion of the top of Scarlet Witch's tunic being pink and her tights being torn. Park had previously shared this artwork in an earlier post alongside a photo of the movie suit and a piece of his Captain America: Civil War concept art.

"Wanda Through the Years: this was the jumping off point concept design I did for her final costume you saw for about 2 seconds at the very end of Avengers: Age of Ultron," Park stated in the description. "Sometimes a LOT of work is put into something that is barely seen... but I guess that’s better than not seen at all... which happens a lot too." Park ended his story by acknowledging that this is "the life of a concept artist."

WandaVision will be followed by The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and is also set to directly lead into 2022's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, with Olsen once again playing Scarlet Witch alongside Benedict Cumberbatch's take on the mystical hero.
