Crom be praised, the adventures of Conan the Barbarian have to come to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
To celebrate the release of Conan Exiles, the new open-world survival game set in the fantasy realms of Conan the Barbarian, developer Funcom has a launch trailer.
Showcasing the immersive adventure set in the fictional Hyborian Age, the trailer offers a look at the prehistoric world come to life with varied environments and gorgeously rendered graphics. The trailer also showcases gameplay mechanics, complete with both third- and first-person combat and a fully customizable character design system.
Those characters in the United States Xbox One edition won't come with the option to play completely in the nude due to censor restrictions. That remains in European and Steam editions, however.
Created by Age of Conan developers Funcom, Conan Exiles takes place in the world of Robert E. Howard's genre-defining Conan the Barbarian franchise. Players are rescued in the game's prologue by the titular Cimmerian warrior and set off to explore the vast world while improving their characters through combat, craftin, and gathering across the harsh landscapes.
Conan Exiles is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
