After regaining the license to Robert E. Howard's Conan the Barbarian in 2018, Marvel has announced that it plans to bring even more Conan Properties International characters into the comics.

"Our readers cannot get enough of Conan, and luckily, we have plenty more to give them," editor Mark Basso said in a statement. "We’re very excited for readers and the heroes of the Marvel Universe to meet or reunite with more characters from the legendary Robert E. Howard mythos!"

While Marvel didn't provide too many specifics, the company's press release did note that "True Believers should keep an eye out for the likes of Dark Agnes, Solomon Kane, and a few more surprises in upcoming Marvel books."

"With their world-building and storytelling expertise, we’re happy that Marvel now will go deeper into the Howardverse to explore more of all his fantastic characters, and spinning new, exiting yarns," Joakim Zetterberg, Executive Vice President at Conan Properties said.

Since regaining the license, Marvel has catapulted Conan straight into the Marvel Universe proper, with the character appearing in not only his own self-titled series but also Savage Avengers. Additionally, Conan will soon find himself flung into Marvel's far future in Conan 2099, by Gerry Duggan and Roge Antonio.
