Pudi was asked about the Community movie while speaking about his role in Season 3 of the comedy series Mythic Quest. The Chicago-born actor and producer plays Brad on the show, which has been airing since February 2020.

He was one of the original members of the study group the series focused on and established a particularly close bond with fellow student Troy Barnes, played by Donald Glover.

Chevy Chase, who played Pierce Hawthorne on the show, will not be in the movie. The actor abruptly left Community during Season 4 after feuding with creator Dan Harmon. As for Glover and Shirley Bennett actor Yvette Nicole Brown, they have not been officially announced as returning.

The Community movie is expected to air on Peacock in 2023, though no definitive date has been given for its arrival or when filming begins. It could potentially give Community fans a proper ending that the TV series failed to offer.

Viewers can see Pudi on Mythic Quest on AppleTV+, with Season 3 beginning on Nov. 11. Community fans can stream all six seasons of the sitcom on Peacock.
