The continuation of Batman: The Animated Series two years after the initial series' conclusion in 1995, the fourth and final season of the acclaimed series featured radically redesigned characters and saw Batman take on a newer, younger Robin as well as work more closely with Batgirl after a falling out with Dick Grayson led his former protege to take on the superhero alter ego of Nightwing.
