Reed Exhibitions, the company behind several pop culture conventions such as C2E2 and Emerald City Comic Con, has released an official statement concerning the Coronavirus.The statement says that Reed Exhibitions is "actively and continuously monitoring the COVID-19 virus outbreak in line with local, state and federal authorities and public health advice" and is also "following local, state and federal public health advice closely."You can read the full statement here.RELATED: Coronavirus Panic Forces China to Remove Game from App StoreComic creators Tom King and Mitch Gerads, who are currently working on Strange Adventures for DC, also weighed in on the Coronavirus.Gerads said that he was "taking any touching off the table" on Twitter, including fist bumps. "I’m traveling over the next two weeks to multiple states on multiple planes, and honestly, I’m legit freaked out."King backed this up with a tweet of his own: "Yeah, I really think shaking hands with fans is important to sort of saying thank you for everything. However, with all the news, for your health and ours, we’re going to do a no touching, cool nods thing for the next bunch of signings. I appreciate you all understanding."

C2E2 is currently underway at McCormick Place in Chicago. Both King and Gerads are guests at the convention.
