Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2's Gamora may not look much like her comic book counterpart, but she almost did. Marvel Studios concept artist Andy Park revealed more of his Guardians of the Galaxy concept art on his Instagram page, and it shows a far more comics-accurate version of the deadly assassin.

"This is the same version I posted previously but with a cloak on," he wrote on the post. "I always thought she'd look great with a more mysterious feel to her like the assassin she used to be."

A lot of the commenters on Park's page agree, with some even saying they wished the movie's final version of Gamora had the look from the concept art.

Park has tons more pictures of concept art from various Marvel films, including more detailed art featuring Guardians of the Galaxy's Mantis, on his social media pages. Another piece shows a different concept for Gamora, this time without the cloak.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 stars Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Vin Diesel as Baby Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon, Michael Rooker as Yondu Udonta, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Elizabeth Debicki as Ayesha, Chris Sullivan as Taserface, Sean Gunn as Kraglin, Glenn Close as Irani Rael and Kurt Russell as Ego. The movie is now available on digital download, DVD and Blu-Ray.
