As always, Comic Theme Time is a twist on the idea of a "Top Five" list. Instead of me giving a topic and then listing my top five choices, I'm giving you the topic and letting you go wild with examples that you think fit the theme.

Here, we're discussing unresolved comic book plot threads. So list some notable examples of unresolved comic book plot threads!

Read on to see what I'm looking for specifically...

I don't want stuff like comic book companies that went under before the stories in their titles were finished (like Quantum and Woody, for example, when Acclaim went under) or independent comics where, obviously, if the creator is no longer doing them, then they're not going to be resolved (like Stray Bullets). What I'm talking about here is stuff that still theoretically COULD be resolved. To wit, like the mysterious basement bad guy in Avengers in the late 390s.

It was unresolved for a number of years until Kurt Busiek resolved it in the last storyline Perez did during their Avengers run. So stuff like that. It COULD involve a comic book that ended prematurely, but only if that comic is tied into a larger continuity so other writers realistically could finish the story some day (like Omega the Unknown being finished in the pages of the Defenders).

An example could be the mysterious reactions of crows to the original five X-Men towards the end of Steven Seagle's run on Uncanny X-Men...

or Black Widow's sudden obsession with Captain America at the end of Bob Harras' Avengers run that was never mentioned again....

I think you all get what I'm looking for, so let's see some good examples!
