Comic Theme Time – Real “Fake” Websites in Comic Books

Comic Theme Time is a twist on the idea of a “Top Five” list. Instead of me stating a topic and then listing my top five choices in that topic, I’m giving you the topic and letting you go wild with examples that you think fit the theme.

In this TV Legends Revealed, I talked about how the sitcom How I Met Your Mother created an actual Canadian Sex Acts website for an episode of their show. That made me wonder if this ever comes up in comic books, as well, so I figured I’d put it to you all. So name instances when a comic book introduced a fake website that turned out to be real! If you can’t think of any, you can also just name fake websites created in comics, like the Gotham Guardians website Grant Morrison and Chris Burnham introduced in Batman Inc. #6, which was clearly based on the Comic Book Resources’ messageboard – check it out and share your answer to the theme!
