The MCU has recently treated fans with more projects than they can count. Now that Ms. Marvel has premiered, there's Thor: Love and Thunder to look forward to before the introduction of She-Hulk to the MCU with She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Although the series premiere is still far away, the fandom is already curious about its plot. Fortunately, there are many Marvel comic book storylines the MCU can draw inspiration from.

Jennifer Walters first debuted as She-Hulk in 1980. Since then, she's appeared in many comic book series, some of which have been solo stories and some of which have teamed her up with other iconic Marvel heroes. Based on the trailer and the official information about the new TV show, It's easier to guess what She-Hulk arcs Disney will consider.

10 The Series May Lead With Her Origin Story

One of the scenes in the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law trailer features Jennifer and Bruce in his Hulk form discussing her triggers. Jennifer listens to her cousin from inside a glass cage while Bruce explains to her how fear and anger will help her transform. After this, he sets a mechanical blade dangerously close to her, and she transforms immediately.

Given how the trailer first shows Jennifer as she tries to understand her powers, it's likely the series will start with her origin story as She-Hulk. Maybe the pilot will include her conflict with Nicholas Trask and the blood transfusion Bruce gave her in Savage She-Hulk #1.

9 It's Time To Bring The Green Door To The MCU

Hulk in front of the green door in Marvel Comics - gamma mutate other world

According to Immortal Hulk, the Green Door is the entrance to the Below-Place from the real world. Every time a gamma mutate dies, their soul crosses this barrier and waits in this place until another Green Door manifests. When this happens, it helps them return to the real world through resurrection with no recollection of their previous life.

The Green Door is a very important concept in Hulk mythology. However, since the Jade Giant hasn't been the main character of any MCU project since The Incredible Hulk, it makes sense that the door hasn't been introduced yet. Now, with She-Hulk: Attorney in Law, Marvel has a perfect opportunity to expand on the gamma mutates' lore by adapting Immortal Hulk.

8 Jennifer May Deal With The Avengers: Endgame Aftermath

During She-Hulk #3 by Dan Slott and Juan Bobillo, Jennifer works a legal case that calls on a dead person to testify. This bizarre strategy brings up the question of resurrected people in the Marvel Universe and their legal rights. Of course, as an example of this situation, they bring up Thanos killing half the universe and then the Avengers bringing everyone back.

According to the trailer, Jennifer's law firm will open a division specializing in superhero cases. Considering the bureaucratic chaos that Thanos' snap caused, it'd make sense that the world is still dealing with this situation. Perhaps this trial will be adapted to set the ground for Jen's first cases in the superhero area.

7 She-Hulk Has Always Been Torn Between Being A Lawyer & Being A Superhero

Sensational She-Hulk, by John Byrne, follows Jennifer's solo adventures as She-Hulk while dealing with her life outside the superhero gig. After quitting her job as a lawyer in Sensational She-Hulk #2, she commits to being an Avenger for a couple of issues – until the court calls her back in Sensational She-Hulk #8.

The trailer for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law seems to imply Jennifer refuses to become an Avenger. However, it shows how the series will depict her new life as a gamma mutate. Given the title of the series, it's unlikely Jennifer will abandon her practice, but, if the show follows Sensational She-Hulk, it'll definitely deal with Jennifer's choice between these two career options.

6 Starfox Is Already In The MCU

starfox and she-hulk in the comics

Starfox and She-Hulk have shared comic pages more than once. The first was in Avengers #234, where they had a one-night stand, and then during She-Hulk #7, in which the lawyer defended the Eternal during a shameful trial for sexual assault. Starfox was accused of using his powers of persuasion to trick people into sleeping with him, which makes it non-consensual.

It's highly unlikely Disney will agree to do an adaptation of this uncomfortable moment in the comics. However, Starfox has already been introduced to the MCU in Eternals, portrayed by Harry Styles. In any case, it'd be a missed opportunity to not have him as a guest star on the series.

5 Gray She-Hulk Has Been A Sore Spot For Jennifer Walters

Gray She-Hulk rages in Marvel comics

Contrary to Bruce Banner, Jennifer doesn't lose her personality when transforming unless she becomes Gray She-Hulk, who's a savage version of herself. This new alter ego, which has appeared in Sensational She-Hulk #14 and the Mariko Tamaki's run on Hulk, turns Jennifer into a bigger, stronger monster, but heavily reduces her mental acuity.

Based on promotional images, fans already know Jennifer will remain rational after hulking out. However, since transforming into Gray She-Hulk is one of her biggest fears, this could add some drama to her story – especially considering she's still learning to control her powers.

She-Hulk pinning a picture on a board

She-Hulk #5, by Charles Soule and Ronald Wimberly, kicks off one of She-Hulk's most famous arcs. In this story, Jennifer and her firm attempt to unveil the mystery behind a blue file that Jennifer took from her previous firm. As they attempt to make sense of what happened in a small town in North Dakota, they realize no one remembers the city to begin with, all thanks to a spell.

A whole town magically kidnapped to believe a lie sounds exactly like WandaVision. Since Jennifer is clearly on her way to becoming a lawyer specializing in superhero cases, the surviving Westview residents would be her best option when it comes to potential clients. Obviously, this wouldn't be an identical adaptation, but this wouldn't be the first time the MCU changes something in Marvel.

3 Jennifer May Go Against Matt Murdock Like In "The Good Old Days"

daredevil and she-hulk having a stare down

After a man on his deathbed accuses Steve Rogers of several wrongful deaths that happened decades ago, Captain America, now retired, hires Jennifer to defend him. He also hires Matt Murdock to go against them. The trial of the century pits Marvel's two most cunning lawyers in She-Hulk #8-10, aka "The Good Old Days" arc.

The MCU has everything it needs to put this arc into motion. Jennifer Walters is finally debuting, Matt Murdock has been confirmed to return, and Cap is now a retired hero. This trial would shine a new, albeit less positive, light on the celebrity status the Avengers currently have on Earth.

2 Jazinda Could Appear In Preparation For Secret Invasion

Jazinda-Klrt-Spawn being tortured by the government in She-Hulk comics

In She-Hulk #22, by Peter David and Shawn Moll, Jennifer gives up her life as a superhero and lawyer. Instead, she starts working for Freeman Bonding Inc as a freelance bail enforcement agent. Here, she meets Jazinda, Kl'rt the Super-Skrull's daughter, who's currently on the run. The Skrull becomes one of She-Hulk's closest friends.

With Secret Invasion so close, it's about time Marvel gave fans more information about what's coming. Jazinda is a central character for She-Hulk's role during the Secret Invasion comics arc. So, if Tatiana Maslany were to appear in the upcoming Secret Invasion series, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law could introduce Jazinda and her friendship with Jennifer.

1 Titania's Origin Story Comes From The Secret Wars Era

Titania is She-Hulk's greatest rival in Marvel Comics

Fans already know Jameela Jamil will play Titania in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. However, since She-Hulk's first encounter with Titania occurs during Secret Wars, there's no way of knowing how these two mighty characters will cross paths.

According to official information, Titania will appear as an influencer in the TV series. As a result, Marvel executives might adapt her evolution from a shy girl to a stronger, more confident and charismatic woman as seen in the "Skeeter" storyline from She-Hulk #10 by Dan Slott and Paul Pelletier. This would make her a more complex and compelling villain.
