CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR

ComicBookMovie has noticed that one of the actors on "Civil War's" set is Damion Poitier -- the stunt man turned actor that initially played Thanos in the mid-credits scene of 2012's "Avengers." It's not clear what role Poitier will play in the "Captain America" film.

DAREDEVIL

Two audition tapes purportedly depicting actors auditioning for the part of Elektra surfaced online briefly yesterday before being taken down. ComicBook.com has a transcript of the scenes, one of which features a conversation between Elektra and Matt Murdock. Elektra's possible inclusion in season two of "Daredevil" has not yet been officially announced.

FEAR THE WALKING DEAD

Variety has featured "Fear the Walking Dead" actress Alycia Debnam-Carey in their TV Actors to Watch feature. Her entry features both a new photo of her character and a brief quote.

"It took a while to sink in," said Debnam-Carey. "I'm lucky to be part of a world that's already well established and supported."

GOTHAM

TV Line has heard that "Gotham" is casting a few season two villains right now, include a "male DC Villain" that is described as "intelligent, cultured and highly articulate," "extremely attractive, both seductive and threatening." The show is also looking for someone to play a female DC villain; the character is described as being in her mid-to-late 20s and is "a sexy knock-out."

IZOMBIE

The CW has released a trailer for next week's episode, "Dead Rat, Live Rat, Brown Rat, White Rat."

LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN

The Tracking Board and Variety have reported that another adaptation of Alan Moore and Kevin O'Neill's "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" is in the works. The reboot is still early in the process as Fox is currently looking for a director. The film does have a producer, "Chronicle's" John Davis, attached.

MARVEL

The Wrap has new quotes from "Selma" lead David Oyelowo regarding Marvel's rumored talks with director Ava DuVernay.

"The thing about Ava is everything she touches she elevates," said Oyelowo, who worked with DuVernay on "Selma" and "Middle of Nowhere." "She bakes into it who she is. So, if Marvel is as smart and as brave to go on that journey with Ava, I'm personally the first in line to see what she does with that... I think she's going to take it in directions that are both exciting and provocative, and different to what you've seen thus far. It's always going to be a Marvel movie, but she is so singular as a director that I think her, plus that brand is an exciting idea."

SUICIDE SQUAD

Thanks to new fan shot footage, we now know that that not only will the Batmobile be featured in David Ayer's "Suicide Squad," but so will Batman himself. A new action-packed -- at least compared to most other fan videos -- clip features a capeless Batman riding on top of Joker's flashy car as it takes a sharp turn.

Additionally, a pair of pics of both Joker's car and the Batmobile have been uploaded to Imgur.

SUPERGIRL

Variety has also named Melissa Benoist one of their 10 Actors to Watch. Her entry includes a new still from CBS' "Supergirl" and a quote from Supergirl herself.

"There are moments when I step back and look at the bigger picture and I'm on the set with fire and explosions and I'm in the suit," said Benoist. "And I'll have to do a double-take."

X-MEN: APOCALYPSE

Bryan Singer has posted a new photo to his Instagram account that depicts what he calls "Caliban's place of 'business'" and seemingly confirms that the Morlocks will have a part to play in "Apocalypse."
